Evaluations
(60 min)

Evaluations include a comprehensive clinical exam & customized care plans to address a known or suspected irregularity, dynsfunction, or disruption in how movement and play occur.
Includes assessment of developmental history, current function, and creating a plan for plan for addressing individual needs + goals.​
Every evaluation includes 8 weeks of on-demand access to an expert professional.
Evaluations are valid up to 12 months as long as 1 follow up visit occurs every 6 months.​
Any and every child benefits from an Annual Physical Therapy Visit for evaluation of general movement + physical development
(just like an Annual Well Visit at the pediatrician, but this evaluates physical development + general movement or functional skills used daily)

Proactive Fitness
(45 min)
​
Optimize your child’s understanding and participation in regular physical activity and movement based play.
Whether focusing on a specific sport or as a maintenance option for overall improvement in strength/endurance and coordination, Proactive Fitness offers expert programming and modifications for your child’s needs.
We meet 1x/month to learn a new set of moves & then you practice between visits.

An Evaluation must be completed prior to starting Proactive Fitness to rule out need for intervention or direct care.

Follow Up Session
(45 min)

A follow up visit includes curated activities and interventions tailored to your child's unique presentation and care plan.

Interventions may include:
therapeutic exercises
kinesiotaping
massage
task specific electrical stimulation (TASES)
neuro-muscular or fascia-based approaches and more. . . ​​​​​​​​​

Follow up care may be appropriate as an Intensive Series - contact to discuss. Generally, an Intensive Series includes an Evaluation + short term goals with 1-2 sessions held daily for 3-5 days.
Notes: PT services available within NYS - all other options available anywhere virtually.
In person PT occurs at a private practice in Marine Park (Brooklyn, NY) by appointment only.
A referral/prescription will be needed after 10 visits or 30 days, whichever happens first.
